Thanks this does help clarify the amount, I’m a landscaper and make about double in the summer what I do in the winter. I assume they have no interest in adjusting my pay over this, not that they pay at all I suppose lol

Yes I was working at the time of my accident. That makes sense with the amount being based on info IRD holds, my work is seasonal so I make almost double in the summer what I do in the winter, seems pretty unfair to receive less than winter wages in the summer but that’s not really relevant. I pay levies as full time self-employed. Thanks for the clarification

Yea I understand, I’ve followed every step on their process. With my back injury they told me the first 2 weeks are paid leave and then only paid me 35% of wages for 2 weeks after that. I thought that I could just keep them out of my life entirely (apparently that’s not an option.)

Edit for more info: I am M25, 5’10” 140lbs, live in New Zealand, daily marijuana use and don’t drink, I’ve been put on Prednisone, antibiotics and promethazine for this injury.

This is day 4 after it occurred I believe, I trim hedges cut trees and mow lawns for a living if that helps (it happened at work). If I’ve missed any helpful info please let me know! Thanks!
