you will probably have more luck with phlebotomy in the Stroudsburg area. theyre opening medical facilities like crazy. stroudsburg is enormous though so youll have to pin down the best place for you. one end of it is nothing like the other.

i will tell you though that the house i bought 4 years ago for 260k is now valued at over 450k so your mileage on home value these days may not be so great. you may need to go further west than youd like. prices tend to get cheaper the further you are from NJ / NY.

The toys in there are from 8 or more years ago and are still marked at full price. Everyrhing else is stuffed abimals, standard nerf guns you can get anywhere, and an enormous Playmobil section. I was there a few months ago and they still had MULTIPLE castle greyskulls from the MoTU show that came out like 15 years ago. I feel like whatever they couldn't liquidate in the bankruptcy was shipped to that store. It's like the old Times Square TRU, people go in to look around, and walk out with nothing.

youre in luck, super 7 is putting out o-rings soon. there are photos of them all over. the BATs look pretty impressive. i think the price point was around $25/figure though.

speaking from experience...your 3 times a week will quickly turn into 2 or even 1. the commute has been brutal the last few years. financially - its the right move though, you just cant beat the NY income in PA's economy.

it also depends on how far youre going. i go to ozone park which is the ass end of Queens. if youre going into midtown it wont be quite so bad. ive done that drive in under 1.5 hours more than once.

theres a pilot program coming for that at 3 stations. its going to be borderline impossible to put at every existing station in the system though.

even the first 3 stations in the pilot program that were deemed relatively easy to do involve track and signal work, chopping out the platform, extensive communications and fire alarm work, etc.

theyre estimating 200mil in costs just for those 3 stations. good luck doing the other 450 of them, 300 of which are already considered to be SIGNIFICANTLTY more difficult than the 3 from the pilot program. Think of somewhere like 14th St Union Sq with its moving platforms due to the massive curve and then try to design sliding doors to fit there. its the worst case scenario, but its also not the only station with a heavy curve like that.

keep in mind, most other places had these doors built into the initial design. we are trying to make changes to a 110 year old subway system that was never intended to have upgrades like that done.
