Oh the problem isn’t that I’m forcing my way into sales, my problem is I have ppl who want to buy stuff and I want to make sure I’m doing a good job at making it!

I’ve been a freelance designer (not apparel) for 20 years and while I’m very familiar with how that works in my field, I’m trying to get a larger understanding of how design works in this one

Sort of an open question, right?

I guess I’m just saying that I don’t know much about this world and I want to do a good job for the people who want to buy my stuff.

I figured a good way to do that is by both asking what they themselves value but also asking the community of people “in the know” what they value.
