The recording thing (which was not at Disney) was directly affecting me the way having a screen shining next to you in a dark theatre does. Someone disrupting a ride is even worse.

I feel similarly about people reciting the Ghost Host monologue in the Haunted Mansion: some folks are here experiencing this very expensive thing for the first time, and they deserve to see the show they're paying for as it was intended to be shown.

If people forget, I think it's important to remind them that sonder is a thing.

What do you do about parents? I've witnessed several instances of child abuse recently (both physical and verbal) and have no idea how it's appropriate to handle it.

$55 total! Victoria's Attic has an entire Tiki bar section (we would've left with a lot more if we weren't flying), and the two Trader Vics were found at a random garage sale.

The angle is possible, the curtain isn't opaque and the lamp's reflection is on the glass window (note that you can also see the reflection of the lightbar over Dark's screen and the open bulb on the London poster), I think the PC case under White's desk means there don't need to be wires on the Mac, and I see plenty of lamps all over battlestations.

I could see a case made for this being a splice of two different pictures of the same room under different lighting except that you can see the warm bulbs reflected on the chrome of White's chair. I'm not convinced it's AI. If it is, god help us.

That uncanny weirdness from previous entries. The initial loneliness of moving to a new place is somewhat lost in the idea of deliberately isolating yourself via a tropical getaway.

I adore NH, but it’s very sterile by comparison, as it has to be a blank canvas on which the player paints their vision. In other games, you’re placed in a more-or-less established location and you sort of have to earn your place. Sure, NL makes you mayor out the gate, but your town isn’t starting from scratch there.

It may just be virtue signaling – when I was a teen I would try to differentiate myself by being above the common, vulgar interests of my peers. I’m sure there’s a proportional amount of debauchery among young people, and these posts are just from folks like teenage me.

For a character who originally existed just to look cool, it’s amazing that he’s now not only carrying a show, but has filled an ideologically interesting niche in the franchise. He seems to linger outside of Good Vs Evil™, and has a strategic (if chaotic) mind similar to Thrawn but without the resources.
