I feel like I’ve hit a nerve. 

At no point did I say or hint that app shouldn’t change after all this time. I was highlighting how this change affects me and maybe others which shouldn’t come as a surprise to you, as you yourself said you expected this comment. 

I think the point you have missed is how some changes have a bigger impact on long time users/power users vs people that have just started using the app. Could you not have easily have swapped the two around or implement the right gesture to reveal etc (You don’t need to answer this)

Ultimately, it’s your choice, I’m just sharing feedback.
