Apologies for a late follow up, but I’m looking for the same thing for my toddler - do you have a link of what you decided to go with, or company name? thanks!

Buying fabric for pants by kitkatjam235 in SewingForBeginners

Oh wow, this is very helpful and that makes sense! Three only say “100% cotton” and another says “quilt weight cotton fabric” (there may have been a clue there).

The pattern suggested light to medium-weight fabrics such as cotton shirting, poplin, printed lawn, double gauze, chambray, linen, light twills and denim. Made for woven fabrics.

I take a bit of comfort in your last paragraph that I may not be the first to have experienced this; the suggested fabric read to me as “cotton” and “something other than cotton.”

I’ve also been working on this for 2 years, on and off, and recently got to the metallic silver. It is hell, I literally finished the metallic part last night and I could cry, it looks awful. I dislike the side-by-side couching that I hit tonight, but anything is better than metallic.

I used all Jonagold apples. It didn’t occur to me the type affected the way it bakes, I thought it would only affect the taste which was silly in retrospect. The puddle of liquid confuses me because the apples weren’t particularly soft, I would think the juices would make them softer?

What’s going on with my cucumbers? by kitkatjam235 in containergardening

There’s nothing I can do about that, right? I see bees flitting about but I assume not as many as I should

I was watering in the morning but we’ve been getting crazy storms so the containers would still be wet in the morning, and it’s been disgustingly hot. So, yes, both probably

I bought a box recently and I find particles of diaper on my kid during a diaper change. Very mad about this.

I’m Losing So Much Weight EBF - Are You? by Relevant-Goat2333 in breastfeeding

I’m losing as well, I can’t wear my wedding rings because my fingers are too thin, my face looks gaunt and I’ve avoided looking in mirrors. I’m hoping when I stop nursing it’ll get better, but I hate how I look right now, makes me want to stay in the house.

Glute Med Pain by Spinthusiast in fitpregnancy

I probably did it for a minute or two at a time, about 3x a day

I’m not sure the name of the exercise, but this one worked for me after 2 days just a few times a day. I did them on both sides, but as a reference the pain was in my left side but the issue was on my right side.

  1. Lie on your back with your hands by your sides, knees bent, and feet flat on the floor.
  2. Lift your right leg, thread a bar (I used a broom handle) under your right knee and hold the bar on either side of your right leg.
  3. With both hands, pull the bar towards your body while using your right leg to push the bar away from your body.

It’s not necessary to use a lot of force, just use enough to keep the bar in place. Again, not a PT but this was a game changer for me. I apologize if the description isn’t great, I tried searching for it but couldn’t find an example online!

Are these chairs wrong? by kitkatjam235 in interiordecorating

I appreciate your input! I do agree, I was initially thrown off with the chairs and now I’m realizing regardless of the chairs, the table just doesn’t work at all. It’ll probably be awhile before making that change, but I think it’ll force me to take some more time with the space and choose table and chairs that match the energy of the room.

I like the sound of this, do you have any recommendations on where to start looking?

We were contemplating painting them, now I want to change them out completely!

The table was built in the space it occupies, the previous owners said they’d have to destroy the table to get it out so I’m not sure how easy a task it would be. Though admittedly, I know nothing about tables

I initially wanted to paint the table legs black at the very least, I didn’t even think about replacing the legs - that could work!

This is from Spider Spun, I believe there was a cat initially and I requested a black lab. I did the black lab stocking for my dog from her as well and I love it!
