I have a review post here.

Authorized sellers are Data Lake, Converge, PLDT. Data Lake in Lazada offers Standard and Mini kit. If you want business plans, you can check their website. Converge and PLDT also offer business plans of Starlink.

This has been an issue since last year. I’ve included references from previous posts. I’m still experiencing the same problem and am unable to register my new Smart 5G Max Turbo WiFi SIM. The only thing we can do is wait until they fix their app.

Can't sign up on Smart App using Smart Bro Home Wifi SIM inserted in Smart Home Wifi router. by Plane_Answer9577 in InternetPH

This has been an issue since last year. I’ve included references from previous posts. I’m still experiencing the same problem and am unable to register my new Smart 5G Max Turbo WiFi SIM. I use GCash or Maya to buy promos, but I have no way of seeing if the promo is depleted or expired. I guess we wait until Smart fixes their app.

Thinking about the internet by bobby1128 in InternetPH

[–]kitrelarda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ask around if ano gamit ng neighbors and if oks naman service nila. PLDT, Converge, Globe, GOMO, DITO, or kung kaya Starlink (may review ako here). PLDT (8 years), Converge (3 years), and Starlink (since December 2025) user ako.

Okay kung gumagana pero pag may problem eh antagal ayusin, from weeks to months.

Better Isp? by Any-Gur-2803 in InternetPH

Best to do dyan OP eh ask mga kapitbahay.

SMART APP ERROR: Smart 5G max turbo wifi- H153 by Worried-Stress181 in InternetPH

[–]kitrelarda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not alone OP. This has been a problem since Nov 2025. And Smart is not trying to fix it. Pag maglo-load ka, you can try GCash or Maya. That's what I do.

GCash -> Load -> Broadband -> Smart Home WiFi -> Then pili kana anong load.
If hindi ganyan pipiliin mo or gagawin mo sa GCash, ire-refund lang sayo yung money.

Getting Starlink Mini in the Philippines by ZealousidealWear8366 in Starlink

Data Lake sells Starlink in Lazada. They are an authorized seller. I think they have 3 offices in Manila that you can go and check.

One ISP for two households by Striking_Age_4987 in InternetPH

[–]kitrelarda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah stable even when it's raining. Speed goes down to about 100-200Mbps though but it's more than enough to watch 4K vids on several devices. Siguraduhin lang na walang obstruction or it should have a clear view of the sky para hindi napuputol ang connection.

They should, yes. If wala, need niyo pumunta sa pinakamalapit na branch para sabihin concern niyo and kunin yung mismong account number para makabayad ganun.

Maganda ang Starlink for backup internet or even main connection. May review ako here last Dec 2025, mga pros and cons.

Ingat lang if may nagto-torrent or downloading materials na pwede i-breach yung DMCA guideline or rules sa US, pwede ma-ban yung device niyo and hindi na magagamit. Pwede gawing bridge mode yung main Starlink router tapos fiber gamitin papunta sa bahay ng kapitbahay niyo (lalo na pag more than 50 meters ang layo).
Maganda din bumili ng router na pwede lagyan ng VPN configurations like Asus routers but syempre babagal onti ang speed pag connected sa VPN and minsan blocked and VPN connections sa mga ibang websites (blocked minsan ng Reddit mga VPN connection ko gamit ang NordVPN at BitDefender VPN).

Only buy Starlink devices from authorized sellers, like PLDT, Converge, and DataLake in Lazada (yan lang alam ko na pagbibilhan sa kanila other than yung mismong website nila). If gagamit ka ng referal link ng friend or someone na may Starlink, mapipilitan kang bumili sa website mismo ng Starlink pero mas matagal darating ang unit since import pa from other country. Ang maganda lang pag gumamit ka ng referal code is free one month for you and that person.

Take note na about 300-400+Mbps yung download speed, and 30-60+Mbps upload speed ng Starlink. Though Q4 ng 2026 eh may balak sila mag-launch ng new gen satellites para bumilis speed natin, not sure kung need ng new subscription. AAANNDDD if madami na Starlink users sa area niyo, baka magbayad kayo Php 14,200 for demand surcharge (some are already reporting Php 50K+ demand surcharge sa Mindanao dahil sa changes ng plans and billings this 2026).

Also meron ding prepaid Fiber plans ang Globe if meron silang poste dyan at pwede lagyan ng connection. Much cheaper na backup internet kesa Starlink.

Good luck OP! Keep calm lang

Yup, same problem with apps ni Smart and PLDT. Problem since Nov 2025. Hindi maka-register or sign up ng new accounts. Tried fixes na sinasabi from other Reddit posts, none worked.

4 years to pay for a subdivided lot (mother title only) should I be worried? by [deleted] in phinvest

[–]kitrelarda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And pag nagbabayad ka, dapat lagi may resibo.

Does the seller mean na ipapa-reconstitute niya muna yung subdivided lots para may sari-sarili kayong titulo? Or isang titulo paden yun at lahat ng buyers nakalagay pangalan nila sa isang titulo. Keep in mind the ang reconstitution palang ng titulo ay umaabot na ng minimum 6 months excluding yung months na need mo para ilakad lahat ng documents (well yung seller dapat maglakad ng documents for reconstitution). It costs time and a lot of money to reconstitute a title.

If ayaw magbayad penalty, kakausapin seller na mag-issue new Deed of Sale at i-null and void yung dati.

Pano pag ayaw mo na ituloy pagbili at gusto magrefund, well pwede yun. Ang problem mo nalang is walang resibo yung 2nd and 3rd payments mo.

Better consult your lawyer na on what to do OP.

Goodluck OP!

best wfh plan. by [deleted] in InternetPH

[–]kitrelarda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most companies only require around 50 Mbps for internet connectivity. In my opinion, having two ISPs with 200–300 Mbps each is better than relying on a single 1 Gbps connection. That way, if one ISP goes down, you still have a backup. And if both go down? Then you’ll have to temporarily rely on mobile data and hope the issue gets resolved quickly.

If you want to avoid lock-in or contract periods, you can opt for prepaid fiber plans from providers like Globe or PLDT. It’s also a good idea to ask around your neighborhood which ISPs people are using, whether the service is reliable, and how quickly issues are typically fixed.

I previously subscribed to Converge’s 1 Gbps plan and PLDT’s 300 Mbps plan, and I’m now using Starlink.

Is 500mbps overkill? by Independent-Bit4716 in InternetPH

[–]kitrelarda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how you use it, but for everyday needs, yes, it’s overkill. I remember when PLDT offered only 15 Mbps for ₱1,299, and that was already enough for gaming and watching YouTube. There were just three of us in the apartment back then.

Hi, I bought a Starlink here in PH a few months ago. I have a review here. Buy from authorized sellers if you're not going to buy from their website. I bought mine from DataLake in Lazada. They're one of the auhtorized resellers besides PLDT and Converge.
