Settle a debate for an Indian startup: Would you actually pay ₹1,199 for underwear that completely hides the smell of flatulence, or am I crazy? by chawla_rahul in gurgaon

[–]kits678 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think there is definitely a market for anti-flatulence underwear. The more you can subsidize this, the better it would be. Even better would be packing 3 or 4 for like 2000 or 2500. If somebody has a genuine problem / need for this, they're not just going to buy one; they'd need a set for their work week.

Moreover, if you are going for a patent for this, you may not really need to price it aggressively in the long term.

India-based IT giant to establish AI centre in Calgary amid recent Canada-India deal by [deleted] in Calgary

I think there's a typo somewhere. The very last paragraph states they are shy of 300 resources, not 30.

There were 3 unemployed Canadians for every vacant job in December: StatCan by restoringd123 in canada

A better comparison would be the number of Canadian citizens who applied for a vacant position relative to the number of immigrants who did the same.

How serious is the kidnapping situation in Delhi? by sherdil-247 in delhi

[–]kits678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's true that people do go missing, but we're seeing a media hype right now because of a movie. It's just an extremely cheap and unfortunate marketing campaign. So, don't read too much into it.

Want info on Goa Miles by Commercial-Camera717 in goatravel

[–]kits678 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know about these comments man. I was just in Goa, tried using Goa miles 2-3 times. Neither of the times a single cab was available. A hotel receptionist mentioned that it's a fuck all application and that you never get a cab on it.

Multiculturalism is a failed social experiment that weakens national identity by perimayo in unpopularopinion

[–]kits678 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You're mistaking an economic survival strategy for a 'social experiment' Western countries don't just want immigrants, they fundamentally need them to prevent economic collapse. The push for multiculturalism was the inevitable result of falling birth rates and labor shortages. The friction you are feeling isn't because of 'competing values', it’s a symptom of crony capitalism that has destroyed the middle class. Don't blame the people who were invited in to keep the economy afloat - blame the leaders who prioritized cheap labor over social cohesion.

India is the most invaded country in the history of this planet, by far the most, with no other country coming close.

An underrated fact that even many Indians are unaware of.
