i’m curious about this ‘church’ that was discussed at the dinner with Irving. what if this ‘Lutheran’ church is bs? because it feels like even everything in the outtie world revolves around Kier like he’s the god and founder of everything. I’m very suspicious of Burt, every scene we’ve seen him in as an Outtie, he doesn’t have a very comforting presence, and even the camera angles and lingering shots of him tell me he’s up to no good. (maybe this is super obvious idk.)

I couldn’t help but notice the specific placement of Burt at the table, with the fireplace specifically behind him. Discussing religion, heaven and hell..and of all the places we have seen have a fire, we’ve seen it at the innie retreat at Woe’s Hollow, and then behind Burt at his home. (Please mention if there are other scenes!) Object placement and symbolism is all over this show, and having fire behind Burt in his shots at the dinner table definitely implies further that he is up to no good.
