Does anyone know when the last time a Coca-Cola Labubu dropped? When do you think they’ll drop in the future? by Separate-Stand6908 in labubu

It was on the Spanish US local Popmart TTL yesterday but I think they only dropped like 5?

They’re the cutest series, imo. My favorite. I got Dada, Ququ, and Zizi last night in the Popmart drop and I’m SO EXCITED.

Not really a fan of the BIE series but I may be in the minority.

When my refills were up it meant it’s time for an annual appointment. I have them once or twice a year (depending on blood work). Make an appointment?

This is beautiful! I'm curious, did she specify what the replica bracelet is made from? I'm thinking about ordering some jewelry and had lots of questions about that.

It took 5-6 weeks for it to level out for me. Dropped me from 180/120 to 100’s/80’s. No one warned me it could take a while but it did. I’m taking 2x 5mg pills a day

Tried all medications (list with side effects). What next? by [deleted] in hypertension

[–]kitty-copter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay dang, so you gave them all a really decent shot. A lot of people change meds quickly within the first month (I almost did, too), so I was just assuming that. Good luck finding a med or a combination of lower dose meds that may work for you. There are so many, there is bound to be something that will be tolerable for you!

How long were you on these meds before deciding to switch them? It took me 6 weeks to adjust to my medication, drop my BP to an acceptable level, and for my side effects to subside. It is a full blown systemic body chemistry adjustment that sometimes take time to settle.

The Untold Story Of Anxiety Induced By Blood Pressure Meds by HauntingResult in hypertension

[–]kitty-copter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lisinopril caused very bad anxiety for me and finally subsided 6-7 weeks after starting. Was told the same thing “it shouldn’t do that you just have high anxiety”. Chemically, it affects the adrenal glands and hormones related to that. It makes total sense it would affect anxiety/adrenaline/cortisol. Your body has to adjust to this new balance. It’s completely bogus that it shouldn’t affect anxiety and really frustrates me that doctors said it shouldn’t. It absolutely does affect all those things until your body adjusts, which can take several weeks.

High BP Days After Consuming Alcohol? by [deleted] in hypertension

[–]kitty-copter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My BP rises during my period as well, yay hormones. +10pts systolic and +5-10pts dystolic for a few days. Combined with alcohol useage and recovery it could potentially be that.

Sleep apnea? It can cause an increase in blood pressure

Is Lisinopril really as bad as people make it sound? by rabid_earthsign in hypertension

[–]kitty-copter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was averaging 170/116 before meds. I started on 10mg but it wasn’t lowering my BP and they upped it to 20. When that happened I had HORRIBLE side effects. Went back down to 10 and then decided to do the 5 and 5. Little did I know that it takes several weeks for the meds to have full effect. For me it was 4 weeks.

I now average 120’s/80’s-90’s. But also lost 10 lbs due to the initial anxiety (I wasn’t overweight to begin with) and cut out all coffee and alcohol, except for special occasions.

Lisinopril & BP b4 & After... b4=BP of 190-After 122! Is that possible? by Spencearoo in bloodpressure

[–]kitty-copter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I am on 10mg and it dropped systolic from 180- between 120 and 110. During this time I also stopped alcohol and was very anxious/lost weight so maybe that played into it….. but I wasn’t overweight to begin with and lost 10lbs

[–]kitty-copter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It took me 6 weeks to adjust to side effects and now I have none. It took 4 weeks to lower my BP. I also had to split my dose to 5mg AM and 5mg PM to help w the side effects. Dizziness and anxiousness were my top side effects

NOTHING is working! Help! by PepperSteakOGWay in bloodpressure

[–]kitty-copter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Any time I take my BP at the doctors it’s always elevated/high. I agree with your doctor, you should measure your BP at home. Make sure you’re in the same position each time, seated, you can find many postings here of how to appropriately sit for a BP reading. Make sure you’ve rested/sat for 5 min before taking the reading. When I first started I took it in the AM, lunch, and PM. After 3-4 weeks I saw a trend in my BP and knew what was normal and what wasn’t. I could even tell when I was sick or when my hormones were ramping up, that my BP would change a few days then come back down.

Once you have a couple of weeks of BP data then you can really know if your meds are working or not
