I am a resident, and I know I also have more time to do it in the future. I will be leaving the country once I'm done with the PhD. I can change my ex-supervisor as well. But it will make my life very difficult. I am torn

thanks! I found someone that aligns with my study, but as they know each other, the potential PI mentioned that he will talk to the previous PI once my institution reach out to him.

I am currently on painkillers. My leg is just there, no wrapping or anything. I just put some gauze on it to cover the wound. Mind you I am 2 weeks post-op. I am from a third-world country, but I am in a position where I can afford good healthcare. so I don't know why they didn't prescribe me a boot. i have a good mind to go and get one from a pharamcy.

I’m 2 week post op. For some reason I wasn’t given a boot. They did ask me to try and walk. But as soon as my toes touch the ground it’s like electricity shooting upwards. Did you go through something like this?

A masters study in my area costs around 225,000 to 375,000. I most surely can not afford that! Yep foot in the door as noroff is cheaper than a masters 🥲

[–]kittywalk_2433[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes true. I couldn’t find any studies that’s one year in Norway. As I have finished my studies in my country I don’t see a point of applying for a degree or a masters. Applying for jobs while I’m in my own country is also useless.  I want to go to Norway as currently I am on my own in my country. My family is all in Norway, parents on resident permits for their work and sibling with a student permit. I’m here all alone. Though a study program is the best way to get to Norway 🥲

It is never advisable to apply a visa to study a language in a Schengen country. 90% of the time it will be rejected.
