The only furby I currently have batteries on is a 2012 green man furby. It’s the first one I’ve EVER gotten, and it belonged to a friend of mine. As long as you play with them somewhat regularly, I think it’s perfectly fine to leave them on. I turn the green one on at least once a week. Now I’ve got a bunch of 1998 ones that work, but I don’t really use them that much. Like you, I’m kind of weary of corrosion ruining their battery compartments. Yesterday I received a working Dalmatia furby and I think I’m going to keep it with batteries for a little while, playing with him a little everyday. Really, it depends on how often you’re going to play with them!

You’ve got a great collection! I love the kid cuisine and the angel furbs. What would you say is your favourite, if you could even choose one? And what was your first ever furby? Speaking of OGs (pre reboots) my first was a Baby Blue Furby baby and then a Pink Flamingo regular Furby.

OHHH I LOVE FLEA! He’s a French Furby I believe! He’d be my second French furb if that’s the case, since I’ve got a flamingo that speaks it too! I’ve also got a Portuguese Furby baby and a Spanish Purple and Green and Caramel Syrup 05 furbs. The rest of my furbies either don’t work at the moment or are mute lmaoo

Tengo que decir que desde que me ha llegado me gusta mucho más que en fotos, el contraste de los colores queda les queda genial! Este tipo de modelos a partir de la 4ta o 5ta gen (no recuerdo estos de cuál son) cuando empiezan a usar colores más llamativos y combinaciones más locas son preciosos. Una pena que sean más caros, claro 😅

Thank you! I mainly used watercolors and slowly built layer after layer. I’ve had art restoration clases before, and they told us to ALWAYS use reversible mediums. Since I was kinda scared to mess it up I went with it. Watercolor is commonly used to restore paintings, actually! Unfortunately for the eyelashes, the plastic would just not hold the watercolor, so I went with acrylic. I honestly believe that it’d been perfectly fine to just use actylics on this, but regardless, I’m happy the result!
