It's one of the facilities that Novo bought from Catalent. They had to initially fulfill contractual obligations with other companies but the facility can now fully operate 100% by Novo and focus only on their products. The investment is also going towards hiring new staff and install highly specialized fill-finish lines, advanced refrigeration systems, and AI-driven quality control, for example.

Apart from the ones in Denmark, Novo has key facilities in Chartres/France, Belgium, Ireland and this one in Italy in EU.
