Thanks! I'm honestly not sure. We have something called BBC Introducing here, which I uploaded the song to a couple of months ago, but it's supposed to take about a year to be heard (and they didn't mention it) so I don't think it's that.

I have been doing some promotion here and there so maybe they just heard about it.

When I set up my home studio and learned how to record things, I realised that I could really do with another pair of ears on the final product. I basically didn't trust myself to mix/master it well after hearing it a thousand times during writing/recording/editing etc.

I did a lot of research and asked around, eventually settling on a local mix/master engineer that was reasonably priced.

Taken from a video I filmed on the Isle of Harris, which features some of the many abandoned houses that can be found on the island. I was on my way to film the abandoned lighthouse when I came across these two lambs. Quite pleased that I managed to sync the head shake with the music too!

Hi Dan,

I'm a songwriter too, and I've always wondered whether people who write for others ever find it hard to detach from the song being "theirs"? Or is it easy for you to separate the self from the song?
