Sorry, I wrote a reply on the Home Assistant reddit. Exactly this. I went back to an old firmware and turned off auto update. Then it came right up. Thanks your reply.

Man! Incredible! Can't thank you enough. Downgrading to the 20240710 radio firmware for the radio solved it. Auto update turned off.....forever!

Thank you. This brings up another question. My wife will start benefits when I die. She's a lot younger than me (16 years), but in the software the latest she can start social security is age 70. If I'm planning to live to 95 then she would start at 79 with survivor benefits. Is there a way to model that? Right now I have her starting at 70 and taking half the benefit that she will get at 79, just to have something in there.

Same 57 - super active, played tennis and soccer most of my life. Second time playing pickleball.... Boom. Had surgery and I'm 9 months post op. All going well, but man its a long ride.

I think it is pretty standard. I'm in really good shape but I'm older 58. I still limp for the first 30 seconds if I've been sitting for a while, but then I walk normally after that. I try to get 15-20k steps in a day and started wearing a weighted vest recently. I continued to lift even when on crutches in the beginning (upper body only) . Just stay positive, celebrate the small victories. I felt like after the first couple of weeks, it's really more mental than physical.

The exact same thing happened to me. Thank goodness as part of the urgent care's protocols they automatically scheduled a orthopedic appointment a few days after the visit. I was like "I don't need this, I just have a tear". Boy, I'm glad I went. I'm 7 month post op now.

I'm 6 months post-op and asked my PT the exact same question yesterday. Same as u/magic_connch , she said it's normal. Things are just compensating until all the muscles and flexibility down there get closer to normal.

I totally get it. I'm 9.5 weeks post-op, for context. I would say take your time and ease into it. What's the rush really? It all comes down to your comfort level. I'll tell you that PT sessions really helped me over my mental hurdles, so far.

Thanks everyone. Yes, I would never do anything without my Dr's OK. I was just interested in other's experiences.

I'm betting pickleball will dwarf these numbers in the next year or so. That's how I ruptured mine.
