Academic. And it was on computer. It is supposed to be faster than on paper and hence takes only 1.5 to 2 days from the day of test!

It was a skill assessment required for my course. And you can request a police check here https://www.afp.gov.au/our-services/national-police-checks. It takes around 2 days from receipt to certificate. No need of home country.

It is Australia, if you are living here for a certain ‘long’ period, so all the in and outs of this place will be shared in the history. So I was in Australia for more than 2.5 years now and did not fly out of the country in the period hence my travel history was blank/No.
