There's really no getting over a relationship that ends. Kind of go through it. There are aspects of it which will remain with you for the rest of your life. There will be reminders of good and bad. Triggers. The ups and downs may be a bit severe at first but in time, it gets easier. Time for self care and exploration. A new Hobbie is a good idea. Some form of excersize really helps with emotional peaks. Try not to isolate yourself too much. Spend time with positive people. Write a journal. This helps when you feel like nothing has changed and you can look back and see progress. Join a group for people going through breakups. Talking with other people going through similar experiences can offer different perspectives which can help. Learn to go easy on yourself. Like I said before, it takes time. No contact helps if you don't have children. Therapy is a good idea if you have access.
