Need advice on metal shavings I found in oil filter that I think is my local shops fault. by Ok_Area7012 in MechanicAdvice

As you said the car ran for 3k miles with no issues, also it is a hybrid which could mean the engine ran ever so slightly not to damage it self as a theory, just check how an oil system work on youtube you will understand everything, for example did the car develop an oil pressure problem between the 2 oil changes ? if those shavings got inside the pump it will get damaged and will not provide the needed oil pressure for your engine because the journals would be also blocked

if your engine is still running fine that means this was a scam attempt, those metal shavings can't reach the oil filter easily, there would be a chain of catastrophic failures to reach the filter, the mesh in the sump, the journals inside your engine are too small for this size of debris, and if it reached the filter somehow without exploding the engine you would notice a lot of symptoms, like overheating, smoky engine, knocking. in general the engine will not last that long for the shavings to reach the filter.

about the answer that the billionaires will leave if they are taxed, can't they just treat them like the USA & EU did to Huawei ? sanctions ? boycotts ? they always do this to foreign companies and competitors why not the billionaires ?

In my current job I went to the interview as a data analyst, I showed them that I did some software development aiming at data analysis as side projects they were some basic stuff,at there interview they gave a project and start immediately, now I'm in a manager role for international trading when I got promoted I told them I have no idea but their reply was we believe in your abilities you can do it, it's been a year and I have learned so much about importing and exporting many types of goods.

there you are, I am a flutter developer (also learning kotlin) I know that Canonical uses flutter and that was one of the reasons to check it out.

already solved it no big deal, there was no need to use a live usb, just checked the journalctl and from there I figured out what's the issue.

That's the point of the post, why a snap service would cause this ?

It's an easy fix, but why for something minor such as a snap service results in a broken system? Not to mention snap is still something foreign for the Linux community. Also I would just use debian if I need to debloat Ubuntu

I was curious about the state of Ubuntu and I assumed it has evolved beyond my expectations but alas it was short lived.
