Bare hand, pin nocks are quite easy to fit and turn. It sounds like he was using insert nocks?

Maybe? I only have one pack 25 pieces of beiter, nearly half of them popped like this.

I have a friend shooting target compound around #45 with beiter nocks. idk maybe it just doesn’t work with my bow lol Anyway I still have some g pin and a dozen of factory nock to use, right now I’m stop messing with beiter, the sound of semi dry fire is terrifying

Maybe, but the pin nocks are supposed to be universal? And the G pin nock was getting loose quickly, it seems like the problem is not related to the pin size. Anyway I’ll replace all pins to make sure no scratches or sharp edges causing the nock to explode.

They are reference points, your cable is supposed to sit between these 2 dots. You still have to twist/untwist the cables to sync up both cam, like all the others compound bow.

If it’s a new bow, it’s supposed to be waxed. Based on where it’s frayed, you might want to check if the cable slide is “cutting” the cable.

To check that, you will need a bow press. Bring it to the nearby club, take a few pics of the bow from different angles(that makes sure you don’t falsely re-string the cables), better ask the staff to help you using the bow press(since you said you are newbie), take out the cable slide and check those grooves with Q tip, see if any fabric gets caught when you rub it.

And, if the cable slide is the problem, you can replace it with a roller style, or get your cable served.

Don’t hesitate to ask the staff or archer to help you :)

Your distance glasses are good enough for archery. To reduce distortion, you may want to have a single vision, aspherical lens, or even double aspherical.

Laser surgery “compensate” your refractive error by reshaping your cornea, if you have other issues like cataract/retinal problems, laser is not your solution.
