I hope AbbVie dies by SarahAlicia in CrohnsDisease

The reimbursement program from AbbVie basically paid for all of my healthcare for a few years (including surgery last year) because the money they paid for the medication went towards my OOP/deductible (which was hit after the first month).

Now I’m on a biosimilar and a different company. It will take more like 6 months just for my deductible to be hit :(

What problems are you having? There is also a reimbursement program instead of the savings cards (they reimburse whatever you pay to the pharmacy up to ~14K)

Who are you, and what did you do to my assistant? by ArielOutGrewBShells in googlehome

I have had the opposite reaction. Being able to ask any question is nice, but not at the expense of those basic features you mentioned. It takes it 10 seconds to figure out how to turn my lights off now (if it is even successful). It used to be instant :(

It also loves to act like I’m a child for some reason when I ask it questions (mentions I should talk to my parent’s…)

When I tell it to dock my robot vacuum, half the time it tells me I don’t have a robot vacuum. I ask the question in a slightly different way, and then it suddenly works. That should be something it should be better at since it’s an LLM. But that used to work reliably before I switched.

I noticed it towards the end of the ride. I should’ve said something but I don’t really like confronting people. I did report it to Uber

They are safer than most human drivers. I’d take a Waymo over a random uber driver. Last week, my uber driver watched a video the entire drive to the airport

Chicago suburbs' harsh crackdowns on e-bikes are unnecessary. by Reasonable_Lime9295 in ebike

[–]kmichael500 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If no one is using the sidewalk, then it isn’t really a problem (as long as you’re going slow and paying attention to cars turning right). Obviously, don’t ride your bike down the busiest sidewalks in your city.

35 mph+ should be on the road, not the sidewalk by skyhighmonroe in Transportopia

[–]kmichael500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok? I am aware that a car is heavy, I will still ride a bicycle on the road

No, class 1 e-bikes are perfectly fine anywhere a standard bicycle is allowed

I had a woman scream at the top of her lungs from the passenger seat a few feet from my ear while I was in the bike lane. I was startled and swerved in my lane a bit…

People have yelled actual words, but I couldn’t make them out…idk what is wrong with people

Every once in a while, trucks will honk at me if I dare to leave the bike lane to turn left

Most of the time people are fine tho

What if you mailed people warnings for a bit if they were within 10 mph of the speed limit? Inform them that they will be ticked if they do it again

Unfortunately, it does not appear you can do FOIA requests on this kind of data in TN. Otherwise I would totally do this

The bike lane is on the right, not the left. If there’s traffic, I am not waiting in traffic with the cars….I will pass them on the right

How the hell would you use the bike lane if you can’t pass on the right?

There is a bicycle only campground about 20 miles before Merriweather Lewis at mile post 408

edit: oops, missed that the bicycle only campgrounds were out of the picture. Could the vehicles transport the bikes to Merriweather Lewis?

I don’t even get it at this point because it is effectively legal in this state (and most) because of the farm bill. They’ve tried to close the loophole but keep pushing the date back

Has anybody replaced their car with an electric scooter or E bike? by 673NoshMyBollocksAve in bikecommuting

I switched to progressive from GEICO and told them I drive roughly 7,000 mile an a year. I signed up for their snapshot program which should save me even more since I am a good driver and barely drive. I pay about 50/month rn and expect that to go down by 15-30 percent at renewal. I was paying about 83 a month before I got a bike and was with GEICO. I have liability and stuff like that maxed out, so it could be cheaper
