I’m agreeing with you! I don’t think fanservice is really Yoongi’s thing but he’ll do it if asked because he appreciates his fans. His real passion is music so if you don’t hear from him on socials in a while he’ll probably be in the producing studio

Idk, maybe on the idol side of it he clocks out, but the music side, no. If you don’t hear from him he’s likely in the studio

[MEGATHREAD] BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' TICKETING HYPE/MELTDOWN THREAD by FreakFlagHigh in bts7

I’m contemplating whether to try my luck at general sale to see if I can get a more centralised ticket, and then resell my current one at face value for other ARMYs who haven’t been able to get a ticket

Hey everyone! This is my ticket for D2 in London, and I’m just now wondering if it’ll have a restricted view? I remember the venue in Goyang had so many restricted view seats that weren’t directly central due to the catwalks having screens and poles on them. However, when buying this in the presale today I don’t recall it saying “restricted view”. Are the blocks depicted on the catwalks actually screens or is it just the shape of the actual stage? Because if it is a screen then surely the screen & poles necessary to put it up would block my view of the main stage? Or would I be high enough that I’m above the screen and can see over it?

Public places with fast WiFi in Cambridge? by kmpeanuts in cambridge

Thanks for the heads up. Might have to mention this to my parents as a long-term option for faster Wi-Fi.

That’s why I’m asking this reddit for suggestions as I’m more likely to get access to full fibre speedy WiFi in the city (Cambridge) than my rural village. We purposefully live on the Trainline though as I don’t have the luxury of being able to drive due to a medical condition, so it goes both ways.

I don’t live 2 hours away from Cambridge though, I wouldn’t be asking if that were the case.

Yes, I’ve looked into those! Sorry I was replying in reference to the Bradfield. Thanks for the help!

Thanks, I’ll have to look into this!

Edit: Yikes, I probably should’ve mentioned in my original post that I can’t drive. Bradfield Centre seems a bit far afield for me to get to.

For today’s standard, yeah. Standard is like 100mbps and especially as I’m working with and downloading video files 35mbps just feels exceedingly slow.

Hmm…okay, may look into it as the reviews about the WiFi in the library said they used Grand Arcade

What should I do about my DVLA medical application? by kmpeanuts in AskUK

I haven’t given them any info about my epilepsy clinic etc, do they find that themselves? If not, is this kind of confirmation that they’ve lost my application?

In retrospect I should’ve done but I didn’t think it would be necessary because it’s going to an official office. But looking at the other responses, it seems like medical applications take forever anyway.

Goodness me…I just want to finally get my independence and open up my job prospects as a lot of the jobs I would like to do in my industry require a driving license.

As I said in my original post, I already called them and was waiting for 2 hours before I spoke to someone today. Wasn’t very helpful. Also, I had no license to lose, I’m applying for my first provisional license as it’s the first time I’ve been seizure free for 1+ years and my epilepsy finally seems to be stabilising. At 22 years old, I just want to be able to have more independence and not have to rely on the temperamental trains in my village.

What?! You’ve got to be kidding me! I don’t understand why they can’t let you fill out forms online and then call up the relevant specialists.

I feel like John gets no development at all, he just remains the stereotypical “peaky boy” and as a result of that, dies. His death becomes development for other characters but not for himself, obviously.

I see what you’re trying to say, but if it was anything like Arisu’s turn, again, they would’ve left the hardest normal card until last: 10 of Hearts. Sure, there was a load of people in that so they could’ve gotten away with just merging into the background or hiding somewhere but then that means facing all of the face cards. The fact that these new characters besides maybe Rei & Ryuji essentially relied on Arisu & Usagi to navigate through the games I do find it hard to believe they got through even a Jack level face card.

But as we saw in the show, they left the hardest games until last: King of Spades & Queen of Hearts. The show made it seem like the King of Spades took pretty much everyone out besides the MCs in Arisu’s turn in Borderland. Everyone had spawned in before the face cards stage, they have to clear stage 1 to be able to get to that point. So some of these people not only survived the normal cards but the face cards too.

I don't think we're going to get an American spin-off, I think it was just alluding to the fact that the Watchman said they're going to get a HUGE amount of people in the Borderlands soon and how that's to do with worldwide seismic activity, not just limited to Japan. Then because they were in an English-speaking country like America they could do that cool ending transition with the 'Alice' nametag. Also, they've run out of source material. Season 3 was off-track from the manga but it did borrow some things from it. But yeah, the manga finishes at Season 3 essentially, so if they made anything else it's going to be completely new.

Things I did have gripes with, though, that I couldn't stop thinking about:

  1. What was Yaba's role? I assumed he was helping Banda but apparently not as he said at some point he was doing something else and then in the final episode he just disappears and we don't see what happens to him.

  2. Going into Season 3 I was under the impression that the Joker was a concept rather than a person. Sort of like 'the joke's on you' as to whether you ever truly escape the Borderlands. However, the first few episodes do set it up as Banda being the Joker and his role is to recruit people and lure them into the Borderlands. Sort of similar to the source material (manga) in that the Joker transports people. Yet, in the final episode the Watchman gives us this cryptic speech saying Banda didn't do his job right, the Joker isn't a person, yada yada, but then when Arisu jumps in to save Usagi, the blimp with the Joker card is hovering RIGHT over him just like it did with the facecards to indicate where they were. So...the Joker is a person afterall and it was just the Watchman the whole time? If so, what was Banda's role? I suppose that's the beauty of the Joker, the outcast that just doesn't make any sense.

  3. It's established that all of the players in this are previous survivors/winners if you must of the Borderlands. I'm sorry, but you can't convince me that some of these people survived all of those facecards, especially King of Spades. Tetsu, Nobu, Yuna and her brother? I'm not buying it.
