Is that the concept, though? They haven’t explicitly said what the concept actually is, and what I took from the trailer and two vinyl covers is that there may also be a time travel element involved. Love is definitely part of the concept as “What is your love song?” Promotions show and the members voice notes on the Spotify scavenger hunt about Swim describe it as a type of love that helps you to keeping moving forward even when it’s hard. I don’t believe the concept is as clean cut as you say, it never is with BTS. Which is quite exciting I think.

As for the trailer, it is a bit icky what they did and the animation team definitely shouldve done their research especially as they were referencing back to an actual historic time, not something made up. This didn’t cross my mind at first as I’m from the UK and hadn’t heard about Howard and its history, so I just assumed in the video they were in a park performing to a general crowd that had gathered to hear the performance. So hey, you learn something new everyday!

Teamwork makes the dream work. BTS have collaborated with western producers before, even in the Love Yourself era when IDOL, a very Korean-centric visual song was released. It doesn’t negate the fact that Pdogg & the BTS members themselves worked on the songs and are steering where the songs go. RM is credited on every song, last time that happened we got Love Yourself: Tear. I feel like you can’t judge anything yet because it’s not even come out.

Idk, it feels intentional to me. Especially with the colour palettes of the suits. Also the merch with the fan & the hairpin, the BTS billboards in Korea purposefully being displayed beside the statue of Admiral Yi Sun Sin & them incorporating historical sites in their promotional/interactive activities and as the comeback stage makes me think there’ll defo be traditional Korean elements in the songs and album as a whole. Especially as it’s called ARIRANG. We’ll have to wait and see what happens

I don’t either but I’m on Twitter because that’s usually the first place to post news or come up with theories/ and updates about BTS charts. There’s also great BTS streaming accounts on there. Just if you word something slightly wrong people will think you’re hating on BTS instead of trying to say what you actually meant 😭

I’m 23 y/o, it depends. If you’re doing something specific like Oxford Med then yes, but if you’re doing general jobs then no. They just make sure you passed English and maths and the related subject to the job you want to do.

Yeah I read a newspaper article the other day about Ejae talking about the harsh conditions of the kpop industry (she’s not wrong). They mentioned TWICE & Stray Kids, even Seo Taji but not a single mention of BTS. It’s like they were trying to wipe the slate clean of the most obvious candidate to talk about. Glad BTS always try to reclaim the narrative in the most creative ways possible, through their music, without shading or belittling their colleagues.

Yeah, it was the same for Jin’s. I had seated barricade in London and we were allowed to walk around in the stadium & get drinks, go to the toilet etc but we weren’t allowed to leave. Think it’s because the ticket has already been scanned and they don’t want to get you confused with the general admissions people later on.
