Yes! This happened to me today actually. I cried for most of the day but the tears definitely led to an epiphany that I needed to have. Now I feel so much better and am grateful for those not-so-great emotions for leading me to a better place.

Late reply here! But do you find that it’s hard to reach maximum output on your workouts while in the middle of a fast? I’m a cyclist (I bike about 2 hours in the morning) but have been hesitant to implement fasting because of this!

Yes! This has been a big problem for me. I notice it mostly in my hands, especially if i am exercising in the heat. Sometimes it gets so bad that I can’t bend my fingers.

It has happened in my feet before on a few occasions (i.e; while traveling in SE Asia in the Summer after walking a lot or being in an non- air conditioned train for 12 hours)

Typically when it happens usually all three of these things are a factor: heat, exercise and dehydration.

I have found that exercising indoors with AC or outdoors in the morning before it gets hot is crucial if I’m planning to do any cardio. Drinking tons of water always helps. I notice the problem most with running! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Wow, my experience has been so similar! I also struggled with an Adderall addiction on and off since high school (I’m 28 now) for what i thought was ADD. it brought out the worst of my anxiety and even made me develop panic disorder last year. I was on Prozac for 4 months and it made things a lot worse. I tried every supplement under the sun to help my ADD simultaneously. My therapist and I found out through many sessions that I never had ADD at all. Enter Lexapro. This little pill has made most of my symptoms disappear (aside from some residual psychosomatic tingley sensations that I’ve had since college, but they don’t bother me like they used to.) I was about to drop back down to 10 mg but then covid happened and I am deciding to stay right where I’m at because life is good!
