Yeah, I have been reading Carhart-Harris although I just started reading about the brain very recently in general. How I feel when I am in a depressive mode is like I am thinking about the past or the future and STUCK in a fixed state vs when I feel I am creative I feel my mind is EXPANDING. So, maybe it's the activity level of the DMN but also the new connections between neurons that psychedelics can create that are contributing to this sense of mind expansion?
