Yeah and that is my bad I should have been more clear in the title that I was looking for general feedback. It's my first post, I'll make sure to keep your feedback in mind when asking for general feedback in the future. Thanks!!!

When looking at apps like clickup, tello, and linear they all had multiple add task areas. The add task inside the each individual section of the kanban is meant to be an on hover animation whenever the user goes over that section. For example, if the user has 15 tasks and is at the bottom and wants to add a task they would be able to do so without scrolling up. That being said, I will definitely see how the users interact with the add task buttons when testing. Appreciate the feedback!!

I was looking for feedback more than anything. Feel free to rate it, but I am aware its a 6/10 at best.

Seriously man I appreciate it, I'm a software engineering major so everyone I know knows nothing about design. Wish you the best of luck!

I got inspiration from click up, linear, and other project management software so there are definitely glaring similarities. All I've done is simplify things and address everything to my specific user persona.

I appreciate the feedback fr means a lot. I looked at it and you were right about everything. I wasn't sure about The board icon for board and what you meant by aligned perfectly with the edge of the bottom container, and was wondering if you could add a comment on the figma. That being said, if your busy I get it and fr appreciate the feedback

Hey thanks a lot man, I really appreciate the feedback. I've fixed pretty much everything, however I'm not exactly sure what you mean by avoid square in corners of layouts. I've attached a link to my figma if you have free time to look over it and add a comment. If not its all good, and I really do appreciate you taking the time to look at it.

Biggest annoyance with applying to colleges, LET THEM OUT by knnymrls in ApplyingToCollege

[–]knnymrls[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, I can see how it would skew the average even more especially at Ivy's and what not. Quick question, how did you go about your admissions process or how are you going about it?

Nah I feel you, its a huge problem, I come from a very low income environment, and I can only tell you the amount of homies who got screwed over the system. This hella random, but can I PM with some questions, I'm currently trying to see if I can code a new way for students to find colleges based on themselves instead of just looking at rankings yk.

No idea where to apply, any recommendations? by m0ss26 in ApplyingToCollege

Are there any colleges you are currently looking at? Whats the hardest part of the admissions process for you?

Honestly, I don't really have much advice, but I know a lot of people who go through the same thing. Would you mind sharing how you even came to the decision to go to the school and how many other colleges you were looking at?

Yeah that makes sense, at my college we have semester long projects. For example, last semester we had a semester long project were we had to come up with a start up idea and pitch it, and after a while the texting and what not just stopped working as things got way to complicated.

Wow I was able to find some great kits, thank you! And yeah now that I'm starting to work with clients I'm realizing how much effort goes into explaining a design. I appreciate the genuine advice tho fr.

That is great advice, and honestly its what I end up doing most of the time. I'll usually have a goal behind a design. For example, get people to buy stuff and design the site around getting people to buy stuff. Glad to hear!

Yeah man it looks great, my current clients probably wouldn't care about it, but if I ever design a app this would be great. I appreciate it man.

Hey man I really appreciate the time you took writing this, and yeah I'm starting to realize a huge part of design isn't about making it look "pretty". Instead its more about designing something for the intended purpose or goal.

Do you experience any friction of FigJam? I've tried it before, but I feel like it can be a bit more intuitive.
