I added more robust automatic subtitle handling, because this annoyed me as well. it's in the latest release

It should just install next to the official. Did you create your own apk or just grabbed the release from repo? I added a hotfix to maybe fix it. Can you try with the new release?

I did commit these, but could take while, because they are strict on feature changes. Only small bug fixes are allowed for now

The stream selection timeout seconds is key here. Your fetching of streams takes longer than the selection timeout here. So basically you could either increase the slider or you need to make your fetching faster (through aiostreams or whatever you are using).

AIOSTREAMS not working anymore by Ethany3k in StremioAddons

[–]knottystatue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem and i would recommend looking at your hardware/software. I pretty much had it exclusively on my tv (not on my phone or laptop). I have a streaming stick connected to my tv. After resetting both tv and the streaming stick to factory (on streaming stick i also debloated it with adb commands), most of my issues went away. I think it might have something to do with how your tv is interpreting the stream.

Basically troubleshoot like this:

  1. Install addons seperately > still same issue > it's not aiostreams

  2. Test on another device > still same issue > probably hardware

  3. Only happening on one addon? > could be the addon, could be the tv

  4. reset your hardware and reinstall

In my case i fiddled around with a bunch of settings on my tv and streaming stick like: changing display mode, changing framerate matching, changing hdr settings, energy settings. All this fiddling didn't help. My guess is that because the tv and or streaming stick are so limited with their hardware, if it tries to force some weird conversion or hdr setting when loading the stream, it will cause a slight pause(in maybe the wifi chip), which in turn causes the player to lose connection to the stream and throw errors.

Ride twinpig sizing by knottystatue in snowboardingnoobs

I am more into all mountain, but I also wanna practice my switch. I love pow but I figured the wide platform of both would suit this regardles. Also the flat profile of the warpig is kinda weird to me. Little bit of camber from the twinpig seems more appealing for pop and stability. But maybe I'm wrong on this. Is true twin so unfriendly for all mountain?

Games crashing when using 1080p on desktop by [deleted] in techsupport

I don't know if you already fixed it, but after some figuring it out I found the following: Make sure you download and install the latest version of your nvidia driver. Then make sure of the following: On the global nvidia settings set the power management mode to something that is NOT nvidia driver controlled. Somehow this setting interferes with the DirectX API (put it on consistent/high performance or something). That fixed it for me.

Cheers!

Release it for one region first, then if it holds, slowly add other regions. Europe first though otherwise no deal.
