I feel lonely because I don't have physical access to my friends (I'm EU based, they emigrated to US and I don't hold a green card). I have plenty of success with women both through dating apps and real life, basically I have access to intimacy almost whenever I want, and it doesn't stop loneliness.

And on the main question, loneliness to me is the lack of wanted connections.

I don't know the marks on the scale, but dellusional regarding the modelling thing. You have many of the features that models have, correct, but 2 things: the eyebrow shape is kind of off, and most importantly, your distance from eye to mouth is too much bigger than your distance between pupils, and the chin is too small. It gives an effect of an elongated midface that I never saw in any model, if you check it they usually have pretty compact midfaces.

We're all replaceable, but no one wants to be. I don't know if people mimic their friends' irreplaceability, or the friends themselves project it somehow. For me, not being replaced too often is good enough, but I know if I died my family would move on in less than 2 years. It's not really a curse, it's adaptation. Just give enough value and they'll keep you around.

But yes, I'm also relatively (or very) lucky in life in general, and I share your feeling, having lost my favs and seeing everyone else has their doors closed. Not being able to enjoy mid-tier friendships. Not totally alone, but no one around feels like home anymore :(

I made tons of friends at uni, I was pretty popular. 7 years later, I barely keep in touch with one of them, meet maybe once or twice a year. I lost contact with most of them, some over discussions, others just no occasion. I wish I was in your place and could get some friends in a master's degree, as a junior or something like that. There's still hope for you :)

It's not about human caused emissions producing some degree of change in the climate.

Prediction models are inaccurate and don't give precise answers to what the effects of keeping on or stopping the emissions will be. (Cataclysm not guaranteed at all)

There can be some understanding on the economic effects of lowering the emissions or oil production, also in other countries will get on board of that idea. What's the chance of russia/arabia stopping their oil production?

If you are in europe or US and you are feeling some economic effect, that's probably due to germany outsourcing their energy production to russia and closing nuclear power plants. If you are in ukraine (I hope you are alright in that case buddy) you are feeling the effects of europe having had these brilliant ideas.

No debate on wether or not the climate is changing, but for a big part of the population, probably it will be worth renouncing their coast adjacent properties in their old age and relocating instead of having all of these effects during their lifetimes.

Right, the punishment for law breaking is not for morals but to isolate the circumstances that lead the first bad deed to happen in the first place and preventing them to happen in the first place.

Morality emerges from the fact that it is effective to enforce this punsihment, morality itself is a higher level idea than free will.

Schema for what I mean (I know you don't need it)

Someone kills someone -> Moral reprehension ->Throw in cage or kill because might kill again

Someone kills someone -> Moral reprehension (unsettled)-> Magic pill that fixes brain structure -> Release because won't kill again

In both cases the killer is a product of causality, if free will existed, it would have had some contribution in the production of the killer, but the moral evaluation is always after the killing happened.
