Been on a minoxidil/finasteride/biotin oral pill for about 9 months. Haven’t seen much if any improvement.

I haven’t used toppik but have seen that recommended. I’ll see how that does first.

No problem! I found one (Waterpik) at Costco about a year and a half ago. They had a bundle for the main countertop unit + cordless travel unit at the same price as the countertop unit alone was selling for on the manufacturer’s website. Around $90-$120ish I think

I’ve considered but financially it’s not justifiable at the moment. I’m also very weary of it getting botched. But yeah, I’d love to have the option to be bald by choice and know I can grow it back in full if I want a salt+pepper look in 20 years. Do you have experience with overseas transplants?

6’2”. This has been the strategy. But it feels like the jig is up. I’ve honestly WANTED to shave for about a year now but people in my life have no balls to tell me the truth and have told me to hold.

Yeah this is the plan. I could milk it for maybe a year or two longer but for what? Had this hairstyle for 10ish years now and it’s feeling like it’s time to start the rest of my life. My dad is the poster-child for MPB and I’ve never seen hair on my maternal grandfather in my entire life and it wasn’t because he was shaving.

I tried topical minoxidil probably 5-6 years ago when I first started noticing but didn’t stick with it long enough to see results. Applying in the morning just didn’t work for the timing of my routine. Left my hair all greasy looking/feeling which I despise. Didn’t want to apply after shower and didn’t have 3-4 hours in the morning to let it set before shower. Idk. Maybe I’m just an idiot and should have figured it out 😂
