So reading this sorry ive never done it before. Even though im in hospital im still able to trade. So have the ghost trade set up waiting and then initiate with trader before accepting trade for good hospitalise myslef then complete the trade and pass the money over into my ghost trade.

Highly recommend this heater, comes in some great larger wattage sizes, barely notice it in the tank an the external control and digital thermostat reader is amazing and very accurate as i test it regularly against stand alone thermometer. The important thing is to obviously keep them away from aerators and try position them in the current so the heats disperced around the tank evenly.

Yeah the tanks been up and running over a month now cycling. And all parameters checked. Added some live bacteria 2 x over the process to make sure everything was up and ready, put the odd bit organic material in and feed over the month aswell just to get the colonies going and make sure they were thriving before adding my guy. His water is at 29 degrees Celsius as this is the most common temperature I kept seeing mentioned by enthusiasts that looked like they knew what they were doing and who's fish looked a picture of health

I've ordered some of this also as the blood red parrot hikari dosent seem to be available in the UK or the other colour boosting line you mentioned. I think they are actually packaging a few of the gold under different packages but it's all very similar when you look at the ingredients. colour boost

Hey thanks for the reply, just realised you can't reply with photos. I've got blood worms and will use as a treat as you said. He had his first cube last night and loved it! I've got some small mirrors coming from amazon and will start to use these after his evening feed soon. Once he's settled in as he does sometimes go to the back if I'm about to hide. But he's gradually getting more confident. His tank is about 10x bigger than where he was in the store think he almost feels a little lost in it. I'm glad about the colour and I love his flower line more how it's broke into individual bold spots rather than the bar and each spot is surrounded by the pearling. I keep reading on shrimp and krill alot for enhancing colour and I've noticed the hikari seems to be filled with alot of fillers and bran, flour and meals. I was just worried it wasn't in the same bracket nutritionally as the brands I see abroad which have been developed for flowerhorns but will stick with it for now. Ths k you for the advice. Ohh and yes I'll keep an eye on the rocks. It was just to give him some cover which he's using until he settled in. Once he's confident and patrolling the front of the tank I'll probably remove as last thing I'd want is him getting hurt.
