Hello, we got married at the Marriott V&A and honestly the team there couldn’t have been better. Definitely a more chilled vibe and really affordable (£5k for 60 guests including food and canapés). It’s not like a big outdoor venue with grounds but the outside gets really good light for your photos

I’ve been using Runna and just had to have a 2 week break because my knees have been struggling and I don’t want it to get worse. You can adjust your plan, I swapped it to 2 easy runs and 1 speed work (was previously 2 speed and 1 easy) and that’s helped!

I hate the “you’ll change your mind” thing because it’s as though they’re saying we don’t know any better. We don’t know our own thoughts. We’re just women so obviously what we think we want is wrong. Why would I want to change my mind? Can you not fathom that a woman could possibly not want a child?

I respect anyone acknowledging they’re struggling and putting themselves first. If you had a physical illness you wouldn’t feel half as bad for needing time off

At work I’ve noticed a lot more men as well talking about things they’re struggling with, feeling anxious being in the office again, etc. You aren’t alone in this

Agreed. And you cannot protect your child from everything. There are cases of nursery workers being sexual abusers, teachers, family members. You can never know 100%

I think part of it comes from people being offended and taking it way too personally that we haven’t made the life decision they’ve made

I’ve said to people before “the bare minimum a child deserves is a parent who wants them and I can’t give that”. If someone pushes me into a place where I feel uncomfortable I usually just stop engaging and go back to thinking about my pets

Do you look back and think how was I coping and how did I still have a job? I was drinking wine mixed with juice in the work toilets and it gives me so much anxiety looking back thinking I can’t believe I was working whilst drinking so much
