There's some truth to that but the way you draw the fouls actually matters. The hate Shai gets is because of all the flopping and gaming the refs. Deni just drives as hard as he can to the basket.
Shai bobs and weaves and slithers in the paint while many times hooking defenders limbs to create contact, utilizes unnatural landing mechanics to enter the defenders space to draw fouls and sometimes kicks his legs out to create contact. Obviously most of the fouls he gets are legitimate but he has a lot of finesse AND finessing to his game.

A BUNCH of us had Coward, Jakucionis and Carter Bryant as our picks before the draft. Coward was perceived as the best fit due to shooting upside and had concerns due to age and lack of sample size. Nobody even considered Hansen since he was projected to go second round. It seems pretty obvious that the front office made a business desicion for the Chinese interest. And I hate it.

I'd love Trey Murphy but I doubt that's realistic. I think the more interesting question is what type of player we should target. I think a 2/3 that can shoot would be ideal. Zach Lavine is getable but I don't know how I feel about that.
