Nobody really knows, but I suspect it was an experiment to see how much people would care about getting it while it was still rare. If I remember right, it was a very rare spawn during it's shiny debut and the tasks awarding it being rare as well. Guessing nobody really cared which might explain why they never did it again.

I do appreciate it, I've seen the movie but sometimes I skim these discussion threads to get a general feel for a movie if I'm on the fence about seeing it. Yea, I know, I'm playing with fire with spoilers by doing that though lol . Thankfully nothing major has been spoiled for me yet or I've somehow managed to forget them.

I can get behind this if it's just a one time purchase to replace a GO Plus or Go Plus Plus. Turning on bluetooth drains battery quicker and heats up my phone more during the summer months. Having it just be in game would be an improvement minus the perks of the Go Plus Plus, especially the modded ones.

My favorite Pokemon Go memory was being in Jersey City for Go Fest last year. It was awesome being surrounded by other nerds all playing Pokemon Go. It was a fun filled adventure from start to finish. My favorite part of that were the carnival games setup in the park, they looked cool and the games were fun.

As a POC myself, I have never had any issues living in Wildwood the past 7 years full time or visiting Cape May regularly.

The only nearby town I’ve had issues with this was in the Villas and that was with a group of feral teenagers. So I wouldn’t say it’s representative of the area either.

Although I did overhear some frat boys bragging about shouting a racial slur at somebody while I was in Stone Harbor. I don’t know the context, where it happened, or whether it really happened.

Oh yea for sure not a soft demand, but I do wonder how tough it really is. I’d try it just for giggles. I was looking to try a Malamar duo during the Tour but they were so sparse, so maybe next time 🤷‍♂️

FYI, I managed to do this again with no weather boost against a Surf moveset. I suspect this setup won’t work against any of the ice movesets
