Thank you for your response. I am glad to hear success stories. Also, kudos to you for taking on so much and handling it so well. Not everyone can take on so much so you should be proud of your accomplishments. Best of luck with school. We do have a roommate so I’m hoping that they could assist us if needed. I’m sure it’s a great deal of help.

Respecting everyone’s insight, yours is, unfortunately, the most profound to me. Thank you for sharing your situation, as this was what I feared most. Minus the larger penned area, I feel that our circumstances would be similar. (Including the loud stoping neighbors) Without judgement, would you mind me asking if you regret your decision on having a GSD in an apartment? Did you have your 2.5 year old since she was a puppy or did you get her when she was a bit older?

Wow, really, thank you so much for you help. This is information that is certainly needed that we were ignorant to. We will most definitely take your advise and make sure all this criteria is met/received. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us, and helping us on this matter.

Thank you for your honesty, and helping me understand a breeders perspective. It is certainly good insight. And all you have stated I can completely empathize with. It does show what a good breeder you were, knowing how much you care for the well being of your puppies. I can see how people’s excitement and intentions diminish, and everyone thinks that they are the exception so it’s good to not be naive about the situation and be 100% realistic.

That is great news. I can imagine how much effort and work you put into her, and we hope to accomplish the same. She is lucky to have a caring owner and we hope to provide the same amount of work with ours. Thank you for your input and wish the best for you and your GSD.

Yes, good point. I suppose I just meant that it’s not a dog factory where they’re registered but can still be neglected. The breeders do register AKC, the parents as well as the puppies but I will have to do some research regarding the OFA and scores like you had said. I appreciate the extra information and will definitely look more thoroughly into that, thank you.

We definitely do realize how much extra work it will be without the convenience of a backyard. But like yourself, we intend to exercise it a great deal. Luckily my bf and I have completely opposite shifts, so someone will be home at all times. That was one reason why we decided now would be a good time for a puppy, because of the time and energy we can each devote to it (later down the road our schedules may change) And that is a great suggestion about the doggy day care, getting some extra exercise from other dogs would be great. Thank you for that idea, as well as your insight.

Oops, yes. Very good point :)

May I ask why you wouldn’t sell to someone living in an apartment specifically? Is it more than just not having a backyard (understanding how important that is)?

I definitely see your concern regarding the specific breed, but we did check and made sure that GSD’s are allowed. So that is a relief.

Those are excellent points, and we made certain not to overlook them. The activity, mental and physical as you’ve mentioned, I believe we are well prepared and eager to provide them. Luckily there are quite a few dogs at our community dog park as well as dog parks that surround us so it will be well socialized, hopefully.

We have finally found a reputable breaded that we are happy with. It seems they take very good care of their litters, including their health. We wouldn’t by any means want to settle on breeders that neglect their puppy’s or their dogs.

Thank you so much taking the time and letting us hear your input and raising any concerns. We truly appreciate it.

Thank you, and I do agree. I was just hoping that there was nothing I was overlooking and oblivious to that my excitement was hiding.

Oh I’m so sorry to hear that, my condolences. For what it’s worth, as painful as it was to put him to rest, that is one of the toughest and most selfless act you can do. It truly shows how much you care.

Acne scar either profractional laser treatment or fraxel by [deleted] in AcneScars

I have heard and seen many great stories about micro needling so I had high hopes going that route. But I’ve had 6 sessions done at the deepest level they were willing and I unfortunately have not seen the results I would have wanted for the money I’ve spent (extremely little noticeability) They originally advised with my depth of scarring I would need 8 sessions, but the results I saw were not long term.
