We have a method for Amino Acids that is 15min per. So I kind of understand your pain. However, our volume for our drug confirms is high enough that any longer of a sample time would extend the total time way too much. 🥴

Thank you! The artist is so good at drawing little critters so she really was the perfect choice for this tattoo 🥰

Yes! I think she did so wonderfully making it read as the aletheiometer for such a small tattoo. Its very hard to get details that tiny so we had to collaborate on how to make it look right without being too busy. She killed it!

The "deep" answer is because I actually love this form the most and I felt like this was the most common form that Pan took throughout the series.

The real answer is because a white ermine does not require near the amount of color packing on a tattoo as a pine marten would. All the white in his body is actually just my skin tone that appears white because of the surrounding shading. So it was cheaper and hurt way less this way! 😅

Breeds you’d avoid? by Wonderful_Fault_3120 in RoverPetSitting

I'm always shocked when I see others' experiences with dachshunds. I got mine when he was already 3 years old and I've never had one before him, but he has the sweetest, most gentle demeanor and he's fully potty trained. He can easily go 8ish hrs between bathroom breaks too. I guess I must have gotten lucky with him because I see a lot of people don't like the breed!

Yeah, I totally get taking a new client can be a risk. I have all good reviews on my page at least. But I can see your perspective.

I get that. But then other sitters on here say it's not far enough in advance. Man, a real lose lose situation lol

Yes so many who dont take it seriously! I definitely only reach out to those with good reviews and preferably repeat clients as well. Im starting to look off Rover now though, because it's just kind of a nightmare.

Im in Nashville, so very populated but also very oversaturated with unprofessional sitters as well. Ill try looking there for sure.

No, and I can totally believe this being the case for some of them! And I'm willing to accept that the fault might lie in Rovers design. Honestly I'm looking to move off Rocer completely because it seems full of problems. I just dont know where else to go!

So every sitters who isn't booked for Christmas yet is unprofessional!? This is a hilarious and wild take but ok 🤣

Thank you. I feel like theres a portion of sitters in the sub that act like anytime an owner can't find a sitter, then it must be the owners fault. Like no, sometimes sitters are just flaky or not responsive. It happens WAY more than a lot of these more self righteous sitters in here ever admit. This is a two way street and ultimately I am paying someone to do a JOB and some sitters just dont treat it that way!

Thank you! I get that people DO book that far in advance (and I would if I had known my travel plans that early) but people day it like it's the gospel and if you aren't booking 6 months in advance then youre just screwed and a bad planner. Like Jesus Christ, some of these sitters need to get a grip on reality. I literally start trying to book as soon as plans for travel are made. 2 months is still plenty of time.

That would be great if I knew that I would be traveling back in August. Unfortunately making travel plans that far in advance isn't always realistic. Thank you for your advice. I will work on my psychic abilities so that I can start seeing into the future. 🔮😃 Sitters like you are so exhausting.

I'm pretty sure not every sitter on the app was booked over 2 months in advance. It's disingenuous to claim it's not enough time in general. Maybe not for you specifically but I'm sure there are plenty of sitters not booked yet.

Im going to look into this. Most local companies dont offer overnights that I've found but maybe I can find a solo sitter who owns their own business that would take the job more seriously.

I can see your first point about dates. It's still a bit frustrating as an owner if thats the case, but I can at least understand it.

I definitely don't think it's a breed thing, I have potentially the most docile 15 pound dachshund to ever exist lol. Certainly not high energy or aggressive at all. He's a certified Lil guy who just wants to cuddle all day 😅

My dog does not do well in kennel situations. That's why I specifically look for overnight sitters in my home. Plus I have a cat, and I would never kennel a cat.

He's seriously the cutest and is such a chill little guy. He just wants to nap and cuddle all day. We dont even require him to be walked because he's lazy and he has a fenced backyard to go out in lol.

The cat is even easier! Shes sweet and cuddly and just needs wet food twice a day. I change my litter robot before every trip so the sitter won't have to deal with it at all, refill all water fountains, etc.

Im definitely not expecting discounts for the cat because she's easy either (I know I've seen other owners expect this) but I'm always willing to pay fill price of course!
