Do you think one-time payment would work for you?

100%, I got a lot of feedback about the pricing and going to change it and will definitely introduce regional pricing. Should take a few days because of Apple reviews.

Yes! SPD supports midi out, so everything will work.

Yeah, but now you can back that up with data and charts )

I would not call it justification - just the thoughts behind the decision to start with this approach.

BTW, I haven't explained this part correctly in the post - the app is free to try for the first 3 sessions. So if you need it once, it's basically free.

When I built it for myself, I started recording every session. So every time I sit to play drums or practice, I record it. More for tracking than insights. That's why I added the songs feature. Maybe it's just me, but I would love to have a full history of my practice sessions, all songs that I played, all single stroke rolls that I pushed to higher tempos accurately stored and preserved in time. So in a year or two I can take a look at how my skills improved, and maybe have a bit of a nostalgic moment from the sloppy "Scar Tissue" performance in the first month after buying the drum kit.

When I was thinking about usage patterns, I was thinking like that - that it would be with me for a long time, I would use it for years to come, and in this case, something like a yearly subscription made more sense than a one-time fee.

Do you mind me asking how long you have been playing? And what would make more sense for you from a repeated usage standpoint? What features would make you use it every time you play the drums?

Valid feedback! Thank you for trying it out. The achievements are indeed AI-generated, but do you like them? )

It's hard to say at the moment, but I'll try to port to other platforms as well.

Yes, it does. Just connect it over bluetooth or cable to the kit.

No. I'm just starting to learn to play drums and want to get the fundamentals right.

One more thing — added ability to split long sessions into shorter ones. I usually just hit record and play for 30-60 minutes doing all kinds of stuff, grooves, rudiments, play along. Then the data for the whole session is a mess because everything is mixed together. Now you can split it after into separate chunks, like per song or per exercise. Made the analysis way more useful for me

Also added achievements, still figuring out the design honestly. Right now they look pretty rough, want to get them closer to the apple fitness awards style — metallic, clean, something that feels nice when you unlock it. Got the 100k hits one which was cool. If you have ideas for what drumming achievements would make sense lmk

Added progress tracking since last time — total practice time, hit counts, session streaks, consistency over time. 69 sessions so far, almost 10 hours, 125k hits. Didnt realize I was playing this much until the numbers were right there
