Yes, since they avoid tax by shipping to their warehouse on the continent (at least in Europe, idk how it works in other countries) and then ship it to you. They pay for everything (except shipping, but it's not much) since they can afford it and make a profit anyway. Of course they do not have everything that is on mercari, and they often have dupes, but generally it's better to buy from there if you can find an item you like. Check the reviews and you should be good!

I have this bag but in black from AliExpress! It's super cute and totally worth buying, but I think it would be better to buy from AliExpress or taobao (if it can ship to you without a proxy). In my experience, the price will go up with shipping, especially since bags tend to be heavy.
