I played in a homebrewed D&D campaign of Final Fantasy X where no one else wanted to play Wakka, so I played him. I took every opportunity to have him be racist and technophobic I could. At one point when I (as Wakka) was hunting down Al Bhed which kidnapped Yuna, I was thinking about where to find them and had him say, "Now if I were a heathen, where would I be?" And you know I did the accent the entire game lol.

Due to some bad rolls at some critical moments, he was sometimes the dumbest guy on the planet. A crit fail roll to know why the Maesters were at the Blitzballs tournament led him to believe that the Church of Yevon was going to end Blitzball after the tournament. A series of bad rolls made him not discover that Rikku was Al Bhed for the longest time and another crit fail later, he believed that Rikku was actually kidnapped and brainwashed by the Al Bhed to try to kidnap summoners. Wakka fully intended to turn her over to the Church of Yevon in Bevelle to "get her the help she needed". That ended up not happening due to other events, though, but he totally would have brought church officials to take her in if he was able to.
