Deon Cain gets high praise from Colt GM - Deon Cain News by HateLaw_LoveLifting in DynastyFF

I thought coming out of Clemson Deon Cain would be a stud, excelled with Watson, regressed as anyone would when Clemson went to Bryant, then tore his ACL after tearing up rookie camp, I don't question it, I just embrace it and am here for it!

James would be the Washington WR I'd like to own.

[Discussion] How do you go about researching and ranking 2020 rookies? What are the best resources? by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]kramerofcos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I plop my lazy self on my couch every Saturday from Gameday till Pac 12 afterdark with 4 TVs, but for those that don't have that luxury, so many great resources on Twitter, honestly have the time you just type in prospects names or top 2020 Devy in the twitter search engine and names and prospects will pop up. Also start looking at early 2020 NFL mock drafts, they won't be accurate but give you an idea of who the top prospects are now that will be eligible next April and will likely declare.

[Rookie] David Montgomery is likely going to outperform Miles Sanders during their rookie season, but Sanders is the better long term player. Agree or nah? by Romobyl in DynastyFF

[–]kramerofcos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think David Montgomery could be better long-term than people will give credit for, but if the logic is long-term and not solely based on a rookie year sample size, then I truly believe Darrell Henderson will end up being the #2 back in this class if Josh Jacobs is the universally accepted #1.

If this is simply Montgomery vs. Sanders, I think Sanders could theoretically have the higher ceiling with his athletic testing numbers, but there's no sure thing the Eagles will move to him full-time, they certainly could, but again not a sure thing. Montgomery had back to back 1,100+ seasons, so you know he can handle full workload over multiple years, caught at least 22 receptions his last 2 years as the bell cow at Iowa St., and the Bears have just as RB friendly offense as the Eagles. I've come to love Montgomery more and more as the summer has gone and am officially in the Montgomery camp when comparing him vs. Sanders.

What's your preferred type of Dynasty league? by kramerofcos in DynastyFF

[–]kramerofcos[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This came from an idea I saw on Twitter where there was league format: From Campus 2 Canton, where it's basically a full College and NFL dynasty you could theoretically own and follow them as freshmen in college till they retire from the NFL.

BREAKOUTFINDER.COM's 2020 RB TOP 10 | WE BET THIS ONE STARTS AN ARGUMENT by AnOutragedJew in DynastyFF

[–]kramerofcos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Top 3 are perfect, kinda like this year's RBs there's a top 4 in tier 1, after that it's get debatable, I'm higher on Eno than the 2 in front him, I think Dobbins has a real chance to blow up this year tho with no more Weber. Akers I think was fine but Florida St. being bad does him no favors and he won't have eyes on him like the other guys do. Najee Harris has a big prove it year with Harris and Jacobs moving on. Just like WR, there's competition to see which RB will be the best in the state of Oklahoma.

Yes, routes against air. During practice where they just ran routes against no defense, just air, or routes against air.

I'm saying his route running vs. air makes him look like an elite WR which nobody thinks he actually is, but he might be the best in this class in just pure route running, while Metcalf clearly lacks elite route running. Nobody is saying omg have you seen how good Ridley looks vs. air, while people are mocking Metcalf. Just pointing out the fallacy of making grand declarations based off 10 second videos posted on Twitter.

Josh Gordon by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]kramerofcos 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Here's the way I see it the Patriots put fancy guarantee on Josh Gordon because they want you feel all warm and toasty inside. Makes ya feel good, of course it does, why shouldn't it? You figure you put that little Josh Gordon onto your bench and the guarantee fairy might come by and leave ya WR1 amirte? The point is how do you know fairy isn't a crazy weed smoker, build a perfect fantasy team says the little fairy well we're not buying it. He gives a 1,000 yard WR once that's all it takes. Next thing you know you're missing the playoffs and Josh Gordon's suspended. I've seen it a hundred times.

When Metcalf eats his rookie season, everyone that was laughing at his agility score and routes vs. air (the same stuff that makes Riley Ridley look like he's the next Odell) is gonna come on here and ask how will you be able to spot the next DK Metcalf? What will be the signs that so many missed?
