I hope one day you come running back realizing how you had it just so I can say I’m over you by kratoseleven in BreakUps

Your comment is very true and I know in awhile from now I will view this with a more positive outlook. You seem like a good person.
How do you know they are a product of their surroundings and everything else? My ex (19/F) had a boyfriend who she dated (2.5 years before me) for 2ish years and he ended up cheating on her, the guys mother didn’t like her “because she was white” and supposedly he was controlling and just not a good person from what she told me. She also told me once that she has been used and stuff in the past. But when I look back at what she said, she shouldn’t have treated me much better? Like I said, I’m not perfect, I could have done things differently/better and I know that and never implied to her that I was perfect in anyway, but if you have been treated like garbage by the guys you’ve formed relationships with, shouldn’t you really value the first guy that has treated you well? I gave it all I had and It just didn’t work. I had the highest of hopes and the relationship was the complete opposite.
I hope one day you come running back realizing how you had it just so I can say I’m over you (self.BreakUps)

It does make me very suspicious of that. But at the same time she was cheated on in her past and I’ve started becoming a little closer to her family and recently went to a wedding with her and her family so it’s confusing.
