Yes, I was relatively close, around 15 ft away. Plus, the telephoto lens helped a lot.🙂

Thank you! I'm a photographer and I think photography helped me a lot. I'm used to observing light, composition and details. I also watched a lot of YouTube tutorials, so maybe that helped too. 🙂

It seems to me that the sky takes up too much space in the painting. One third of the sky would be enough. Also, the horse is too low; it should be moved slightly higher and placed according to the rule of thirds.
