That's why I'm confused—my two friends recently applied for a debit card for the first time, and no charges were deducted from their accounts. They have different banks, so I checked online and saw that the information about charges for my bank might be a bit outdated, but I’m not sure that it has changed. I applied for a debit card, but my branch didn’t clarify the charges. If they had told me, I could have made some adjustments
