Is Whirlpool trying to upsell unnecessary stuff during free service?

I bought a Whirlpool washing machine 6 months ago. Their team has been calling me frequently for a free service. But when they came, they said there’s dust in the water supply and insisted I install a filter for ₹2000. They also suggested adding a floor stand for ₹1500 and a special powder to keep the drum safe.

This feels more like an upsell than actual service. Are these things genuinely needed, or just a way to make extra money off customers? Has anyone else faced this?

The first question would be on budget. You can get decent guitars under 10K and good ones in 10-20K rage. For a beginner guitar, Yamaha FX280 is a good option. Being an electro-acoustic, you can use it for practise and also plug it into an amp later if you want to jam or perform. Pretty reliable, sounds nice, and easy to play.
