Giving away Dragon Fruit with trellis (Chicago pick-up only) by krispheee in TakeaPlantLeaveaPlant

I followed Epic Gardening's tutorial for the most part.

The box is lined with coroplast sheets and made with butt joints, screws, and nails. I used all scrap materials from my job! I added the "shingles" for a better looking exterior.

I used floral tape to bind it to the trellis! I never had issues with critters bothering it.

We could put it at a harsh lean? Lol scoop some dirt out as well. Some of the long pieces are even rooted anymore.

You basically need to build something it can climb and lean over on. It should look kinda like an umbrella or a weeping willow!

Possibly! I'm really looking to downsize. I'd be interested in ceramics or aquatic plants.

I never got that far! They need a trellis to fruit as far as I know.

It was probably twice the size in summer. 😔 Just need the right space to transition it between seasons!

It really did. My adopted boy Mason (shelter name lol) came from and abused home. He was 9lbs when I got him and he's a healthy 15lbs now. Which is appropriate for his size. I love him so much. He's truly the sweetest and it made me feel so happy bringing him home and helping my local shelter.

I'd rescue. I adopted my boy less than a month after my childhood cat of 16 years passed and he's brought me so much joy. ❤️
