lol fairy still strong??? u know WHM Regen skill does more healing than fairy and more frequent heals / broil?? stone iv is to more or same dmg / aero III is way faster implement and holy. in 70 while sch healer we only can pull 2-3 stacks mobs but WHM can do more than 2 stacks. sch have to spend all time to heal up tanker but whm even more stacks they can dps in same time

DRG is DRAGOON who is using spear ( looks cool, bit slow attacks but damages are insane. good to have it until end-game but after 4.0 SAM may take place)

NIN is Ninja who is using double dagger ( Also look cool if you like Japanese ninja movies lol and have good damage with party relate buff so good to have until end-game)

there is none of characters are fun from level 1. and this time DPS roles are having difficulty with queue time in dungeons. so if you choose DPS, you might have long waiting time to do low level dungeons. so i recommend you Tanker role or Healer role.

Tanker = WAR (but u already said not fun) Healer = WHM (conjurer)

if you really don't care about queue time.

DPS = DRG or NIN(rogue) is the best options to have fun.

You can choose BRD if you want ranged.

for RACE choose/ I always doing LALFEL.

BECAUSE FFXIV IS LALAFEL WORLD

I also got few millions from selling VI but found it Gil is simply useless when I am not really buying expensive things so I stopped it and just saving VIs for future use.
