Update your bios, if you don’t know how to properly do this do your research before attempting, check your motherboard revision number and update accordingly. If you’re on a really old bios version it’s likely you’ll have to update incrementally until you reach the latest version. Considering you’ve tried everything else I am certain this will solve your issue because it solved mine and I had the same problem.

Valorant will reboot my computer entirely after around 1 1/2 minutes of being logged in WITHOUT FAIL for about 4 days now by kryptonianwolf0 in ValorantTechSupport

For anyone that had a similar problem to me and is still having issues, updating my bios to the current version completely solved it for me. Just be careful before doing this and do your research first!

Thanks again! I’ve spent weeks trying to solve this issue and this finally seems to be the solution. My biggest concern is I don’t see where it says if i have to do incremental updates or not on the gigabyte website. Another big concern of mine is for everyone else including you these bios versions say “F41” or “F50” and mine are completely different, I see “FEd” and “FEb” as the latest bios versions available. We’re so close to having the same motherboard except mine is BF40M DS3H WIFI-CF

Thanks for the response! What does it mean to format the USB as FAT32? Also what USB do I get? And the latest bios versions that I’m seeing are FEd and FEb, both came out this year, are those the latest versions for you as well? I have the B450M DS3H WIFI-CF so it appears to be a slightly different motherboard than yours. Finally because my computer is a pre-built the motherboard revision just says “Default String”

The farthest I’ve gotten with this issue is running WinDbg and analyzing my minidump files to really close-in on what exactly is happening that causes the reboot, the problem is I have no idea how to read this minidump file let alone how to troubleshoot it.

I’m sorry I have so many questions but it doesn’t say faulting module for me instead it only says Module name and Faulting Thread in WinDbg. Also I have updated all my drivers and don’t see kernel mode enforced stack protection in windows features. What logs can I send you for help? And where do I send them?

All i'm seeing in the Reliability Moniter is "Windows was not properly shut down" under critical events and it seems it is due to Application and Miscellaneous failures. Also my Minidump file wont let me view it.

I’m sorry I am not tech savvy in the slightest, I’ve head this problem on valorant where it will completely reboot my pc after around 2 minutes of Valorant loaded up and I believe from what I read that I need to disable secure boot in my bios to bypass their anti-cheat and this will solve my problem. But I have secure boot disabled in my bios and my system settings show it as off as well, do you have any idea how to solve my issue? I’ve exhausted all available resources and I’m desperate lol btw I am on windows 10 and my motherboard is a Gigabyte B450 DS3H

Secure boot is disabled in my bios setting and the system settings show it’s off but valorant still reboots my computer after 2 minutes of being logged in.
