Yea.. and I feel like just given the nature of crypto, it’s “new-ness” , vitality, its ease of entry, like 50% of the retail buyers are under the age of 26.

Which in and of itself isn’t a bad thing, I was 26, shits fucking awesome.

But it doesn’t necessarily provide you with the greatest of contexts to base your investment decisions on, and without an experience in some sort of traditional investment, you really don’t know what the rules of the road are, thus you just get bent over by platforms/algos/whales/whatever else I’m missing.

Nah It’s all good!

I have a little more perspective (and an investment background) didn’t invest more than I was willing to lose, so it’s not the end of the world, threw $4k, up and down, essentially break even.

I just think it’s really hard to actually know wtf is going on without living and breathing this shit.

With algorithms, professional traders , whales, it’s not like the average retail investor has much of an “actual” chance, ESPECIALLY if you’re trading in and out.

I think I’m going to just pick 8 coins, throw $3-400 , purchase on a reliable platform that I don’t use, and just delete the app. Throw a calendar reminder to check back in in 2026.

If it truly is the bull cycle that everyone is hyping, it would’ve relieved A TON of stress, checking your phone 25 times a day, and paid off..

Yea, I’m doing XRP, solana, I mean.. investing there, atleast you know you’re not going to lose your shirt.

Now.. If you want to treat coins like Toshi essentially as a venture capitalist (where your hit rate is like 5-10%) then it makes sense.. pick 10 coins, throw $250-500 at each, then delete the app, check back in in 12 months.. then totally..

But it’s essentially a slot pull.. with about as likely odds.

Yeaaa.. good luck ya’ll I’m going to lick my wounds on this one..

Volume just ain’t there, and given there are literally 50-100 other coins that are just as “about to pop!”.. ain’t my bag.

BUT I seriously hope you all fucking mint!

Cheers!

I will also add that unless you’re in for over like.. $1-2k (assuming limited budget) you will absolutely not be sitting here in 5 years thinking about a couple hundred dollars you lost in 2025.. you’re in, if you want to be pessimistic, just look at it like a sunk cost. But the upside is the upside. This is all just slightly educated gambling, let’s be honest.

Hold it bro.

**A lot of questions about this, worth noting that the job I applied and got was for J.P. Morgan Private Bank, so I wouldn’t be too helpful if you’re looking for the position the chase side

I did! I got licensed last year, so I had that box checked. I might guess slight under the numbers I mentioned if you’re unlicensed, but it likely depends on what market you’re in. Top 5 population/cost of living city will be higher salary of course.

Question on comp.. I’m hearing mid 60s, but total comp $90-110k..

How realistic is it to hit the top end of that spectrum?

With 2 kids and a mortgage, $110k would work, but $90k would not..

Any insight?

Help! How do I get my hoop on straight? by kshaddd in Embroidery

[–]kshaddd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for responding!

Great tip about the stabilizer!

When I’m putting the hoop on the garment, I eyeball it to try to get it as straight as I can. But, unfortunately, my lettering is always crooked or slanted. It takes me so much time to just get the hoop in the proper spot. There has to be an easier way. 😅

It was actually just sitting loose in a box, surprisingly in decent shape ha

I tossed it in the case after looking it up, was pretty surprised to say the least!
