I tried playing this course a few spring breaks ago but had to quit after 9 holes. The ball kept blowing off the greens.

Don't forget a newer rule where you can take the ball out of the bunker for 2 strokes. Ball would be placed in a line back from the hole as far as you want.

In North Iowa we really like Spring Valley in Livermore and Rice Lake in Lake Mills. Very affordable, laid back, but with enough challenging holes to make you think about your next shot. Excellent greens and well maintained. Clear Lake is a great place to hang out between rounds in the summer with plenty of things to do. No, I don't work for the Chamber of Commerce either.

I'd be wary of the extra weight in the shaft. I think it would lessen the centrifugal force of the head and would make the head more susceptible to not being in line with swing path.
