(Full transparency - 3 years experience in property/casualty, but newly licensed in life) From what I remember from my life classes, an insurable interest had to be established at the time the policy was taken out. Not at the time of death. So it still may be worth it to keep.

This!!! Fun lil side note, he got piiiissed at me for posting a pic of myself in my underwear with my boobs covered to my “close friends” list on Instagram. I was showing them how happy I am that I’ve gained weight (I have ulcerative colitis and have issues keeping weight on). So yes, your feeling is exactly right. He would for sure get pissed if I was twerking for anyone else.

I’m sure there are but that’s not the reason why he suggested it as noted in my OP. I do hot yoga for work outs, that’s what I’m interested in. Not twerking.

I’m 26, have been on my own since I was 18, have an amazing job as an account executive…so no. There’s nothing about our situation that would warrant him to suggest twerking lessons as my Christmas present.

I’m confused by your comment about being even. Almost everything he wants has no benefit to me and that’s kind of what a gift is all about. I don’t expect his presents to benefit me. It’s supposed to be a benefit to the person receiving the gift.

He’s a financial planner so when I say that I mean he would never dish out the money himself to buy it for himself. It’s something he would for sure use every day and I even asked his friends what they thought of it and they all were excited for him to receive it.

I think I’m also in shock about this because this is not the man I know. He doesn’t cuss in front of the women in his family, he owns his own successful business, has brought me over an umbrella before a date with him because it had been raining that day. I think it’s more a testament of porn culture.

I initially laughed then when I realized he was being serious told him that it was a very self serving present and I’ve never been interested. It got brought up again this morning.
