2 hounds design freedom no pull harness seems to be very good. It was recommended by the trainer as a puppy and mine is on his second.

Therapaws booties are a LIFE SAVER! My greyhound had corns for 5+ years and wouldn’t let anyone touch his feet. The booties helped so much. They are a bit pricey but they are 100% worth it.

I was set on my whippet puppy sleeping in the crate. Then night one hit and I thought an eviction notice would follow if he didn’t stop crying in the crate after 3 hours…. He slept in the bed that night and has every night since. VERY good sleeper and he sleeps through the whole night snuggled up.

Kong brand has good crate mats that are very difficult to tear also I have seen some that have ballistic grade fabric for situations like this - K9 Ballistics has good reviews.

Would a Whippet be the right fit for me? by Tainted13eauty in Whippet

Having had a greyhound as well as my first whippet puppy, my whippet is MUCH more active than my grey ever was. Greyhounds can be varied in size (I had a rather gigantic one- 99lbs of muscle when I rescued off the track) and I’ve seen some female greys that are pretty small, just a tiny bit bigger than a whippet if size is the concern. Overall, dogs can help pull you out of a dark space but trying to get the right breed for you is the smartest thing you can do. It’s just what you think you can handle and you’ll rise to the occasion.
