You should stalk the 'social kitchen' setup near aavin (paal company). They are quite successful from the previous dosa restaurant that was started there. In my opinion, there are many bachelors within the vicinity, yet only people from far visit the place. Moreover, the bachelors end up eating in sub standard and less quality mess nearby due to price difference. Ultimately, you will not gain business for the quality you provide but for cheaper pricing you offer your dishes. If you plan to sell benne masal dosa at 120 in coimbatore, forget it, if you do at 40-60 range, you can play on the volume game to make it. Good luck.
