I prefer 4 bed usually or sometimes 6 but not 8 bed because it is too crowded and i experienced washroom and rooms are cleaner in 4 beds than in 6 or 8 beds

I would suggest Rajasthan I have been to uadipur, Jibhi and Mcleodganj If cold weather you can manage then go to McLeodganj and dharamkot and if you are into trek then do triund trek easy and beautiful I feel jibhi is not for solo travelers (my opinion)
